Councilman Frank P. Scarpato, III has been a long time resident of Washington Township. Frank took office in January 2005 and was nominated by his fellow Council members to serve as the President of Council. Frank served 3 years as President and was nominated in 2008  as Vice-President. He resides in the Arden Poste development of the Township along with his two children, Nico and Anthony.  Frank is a small business owner who enjoys being involved in every activity of Washington Township. He has served as a volunteer fire fighter for 15 plus years as well as a Fire Commissioner for three years for Washington Township. Frank was a dedicated football coach for 14 years for the Washington Township Parks and Recreation Program. Councilman Scarpato is the Council liaison to the School Board, Sports Advisory Board and the Municipal Utilities Authority.
